Puppy Training Tips: How We Shared the Chores ¶

Four people live in our house, and our pup, Mango, was getting four sets of rules. Here is how we fixed it.

1. We wrote our cue words on a card on the fridge: "sit," "down," "off," "potty."
2. Each person had one daily job: morning walk, lunch potty, dinner, or bedtime.
3. We used a shared phone note to log potty trips.
4. We agreed on what Mango could and could not do, like no couch.
5. We held a five-minute family check-in on Sundays.
