HTV Guard does not collect, store, sell or transmit any personal information or browsing data.
How blocking works. The extension gives Chrome a fixed list of ad and tracker domains. Chrome's built-in blocking engine applies that list. The extension itself never reads the pages you visit or the requests they make.
What is stored, and only on your device
- Whether blocking is on or off.
- The sites you have paused.
- For the current browser session only: which windows are clean viewers, and how many pop-ups were blocked in them. This is cleared when the browser closes.
None of it is sent anywhere.
Clean viewer pop-up guard. If you allow it, the extension runs a small script in pages shown in a clean-viewer window. The script stops those pages from opening new windows. It does not read, record or send page content, and it does nothing in normal tabs.
Companion website. hamro-tv.xyz can ask the extension to open or close a clean-viewer window, check whether the extension is installed, and read how many viewers are open. The only data in these requests is the address of the page to open, which must be on hamro-tv.xyz. The extension uses it to open the window and does not keep it after the window closes.
When you open the popup, the extension reads the current tab's address so you can pause blocking on that site. It does not save or send the address, except as a paused-site rule if you choose to pause.
What it does not do
- It does not send data to the developer or to any third party. The extension makes no network requests of its own.
- It does not use analytics, tracking or advertising.
