Design Team Sync — March 10 ¶

Attendees: Jamie, Priya, Marcus, Tomoko

Quick sync before the sprint review on Thursday. Mostly alignment stuff — no major decisions needed.

What shipped last week ¶

• Updated the onboarding flow — new users now see the workspace tour on first login
• Fixed the avatar upload bug on Safari (finally)
• Shipped dark mode for the settings page
• Dashboard chart animations — pushed to this week, ran into a rendering issue on Firefox

Marcus demoed the new notification tray. Looks great. A few tweaks needed before it goes to production:

• Bell icon needs to match the updated icon set (Lucide, not Heroicons)
• Unread count badge should cap at "99+" instead of showing the actual number
• "Mark all as read" should be at the top, not the bottom

This week's priorities ¶

1. Sprint review prep — Priya is putting together the demo flow. Everyone should have their sections ready by Wednesday noon.
2. Dashboard charts — Marcus is picking this back up. The Firefox issue is related to SVG viewBox scaling. Tomoko offered to pair on it Tuesday morning.
3. Mobile nav redesign — Jamie has wireframes ready for review. Dropping them in Figma by end of day today. Please leave comments before Wednesday.
4. Accessibility audit — We got the report back from the external auditor. 12 issues flagged, 3 are critical. Priya is triaging and will assign by Tuesday.

Notes and random stuff ¶

• Tomoko is out Thursday afternoon (dentist appointment)
• The team lunch is moving from Friday to next Monday — the restaurant had a booking conflict
• Jamie asked about upgrading our Figma plan. Marcus is checking if we have budget left in the Q1 tools allocation.
• Priya found a cool CSS trick for animating the sidebar collapse — she'll share it in Slack
